“Anomalies in PIT Regulations – Intentional or un-intentional “ - MMJC

While interpreting and applying PIT Regulations, predominantly SEBI relies on purposive interpretation. Many times words are read in a larger context to serve the cause. However, there are some occasions where words are not serving the cause and may need amendment in Regulations.
